Argentine football player and manager (1960–2020) Diego Maradona was a midfielder and forward who was born in Lanús on 30 October 1960. He played for a number of different teams, like Newell's Old Boys, Mushuc runa sporting and S.S.C. Napoli. Tournament appearances include the 1979 FIFA World Youth Championship, the 1982 FIFA World Cup, the 1994 FIFA World Cup, the 1986 FIFA World Cup and the 1990 FIFA World Cup. Diego Maradona died on 25 November 2020.
