Who won the 1997 Champions League?

Borussia Dortmund won the 1996-97 UEFA Champions League.

This was the German side’s one and only success in the competition, becoming the third side from their country to lift the trophy, after Bayern Munich and Hamburger SV.

Borussia Dortmund beat defending champions Juventus 3-1 in the final at the Olympiastadion in Munich, Germany. This final is famous for Dortmund substitute Lars Ricken scoring with his first touch in the 71st minute to make the score 3-1.
