Barcelona won the 1991-92 UEFA Champions League, then known as the European Cup. This would be the final time the competition would be known as the European Cup, following its rebranding later that year.
This was the first time that the Spanish side got their hands on the trophy, having previously lost in the 1961 and 1981 finals.
Barcelona beat Italian champions Sampdoria 1-0 after extra-time in the final at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
