Who won the 1986 World Cup?

Argentina won the 1986 FIFA World Cup.

The tournament was hosted in Mexico. It was the second time the North American nation had hosted the competition (also in 1970). It was the 13th edition of the competition.

Argentina beat West Germany 3-2 in the final in front of more than 100,000 spectators at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on 29 June 1986.
