Who won the 1983 Champions League?

Hamburger SV won the 1982-83 UEFA Champions League, then known as the European Cup.

This was the first and only time the Lower Saxony club won the competition, become the second club from Germany to lift the trophy, after Bayern Munich’s three successive wins between 1974-76.

Hamburg beat Juventus 1-0 in the 1983 final at the Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece.
