Who won the 1982 Champions League?

Aston Villa won the 1981-82 UEFA Champions League, then known as the European Cup.

This was the club’s first success in the competition and the sixth consecutive by English sides, following back-to-back wins by Liverpool and Nottingham Forest in the first four years, and then Liverpool again in 1981.

Aston Villa defeated Bayern Munich 1-0 in the final at De Kuip in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
