Who won the 1962 Champions League?

Benfica won the 1961-62 UEFA Champions League, then known as the European Cup.

It was the seventh edition of the competition and was won by the Portuguese side for a second consecutive year.

Benfica defeated Real Madrid 5-3 at the Olympisch Stadion in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It had been Real Madrid’s sixth final out of seven, having previously won the first five editions of the tournament.
