Who was the first player to score 100 Premier League goals?

During the 1995–96 season, Blackburn Rovers striker Alan Shearer became the first player to score 100 Premier League goals in his career.

Shearer reached the mark during a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur on 30 December 1995.
