Who is the oldest Premier League player?

John Burridge is the oldest player to have ever played in the Premier League. He was 43 years, 5 months and 11 days old when he made his final appearance in the top flight for Manchester City in a 3-2 loss at home to Queens Park Rangers on Sunday 14 May 1995.

The former goalkeeper made four Premier League appearances, all for Manchester City during the 1994-95 campaign, when the competition was known as the Premiership. He was on the books of fellow Premier League side Newcastle United the prior season, but never made an appearance.

Teddy Sheringham is the oldest outfield player ever to appear in the Premier League. The centre-forward made his final appearance at the age of 40 years, 8 months and 28 days old for West Ham United in a 1-0 loss at home to Manchester City on Saturday 30 December 2006.
