Who hosted the 1986 World Cup?

Mexico hosted the 1986 FIFA World Cup.

It was the second time the North American nation had hosted the competition (also in 1970).

Argentina were the winners of the 13th edition of the competition, defeating West Germany 3-2 in the final on 29 June 1986 in front of more than 100,000 spectators at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
