Who hosted the 1958 World Cup?

Sweden hosted the 1958 FIFA World Cup and was the sixth edition of the competition. It took place between 8-29 June 1958.

The tournament consisted of 16 nations from three continents and was won 5-2 by Brazil against the hosts in the final at the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg.
