Who hosted the 1930 World Cup?

Uruguay were the hosts of the inaugural FIFA World Cup in 1930.

13 nations from three confederations entered the tournament between 13-30 July 1930, which was won by Uruguay, 4-2 against fellow South Americans Argentina in the final.
