Two players have been relegated from the Premier League on a joint-record five occasions.
Iceland defender Hermann Hreidarsson made more than 300 appearances in the English top flight but was relegated with Crystal Palace, Wimbledon, Ipswich Town, Charlton Athletic and Portsmouth.
Former Wales international Nathan Blake ties the record. The striker was first relegated with Sheffield United in 1993-94 before suffering three relegations in the space of four seasons – twice with Bolton Wanderers and once with Blackburn Rovers. Blake set the record when he was relegated with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2003-04.
